Erdor & CreativeUI
Hey Erdor, Iāve been sketching a clean, pixelāperfect dashboard for team metrics. I think it could help keep everyone on the same page and build trust. How do you feel about designing a visual system thatās both functional and clear?
I can see how a clean, pixelāperfect dashboard would give the team a shared view and reduce confusion. Letās focus on the core metrics first, keep the layout simple, and use colors that convey status without overloading the eye. Once we have a stable foundation, we can add any additional details the team needs. That way the system stays functional and clear.
Great planāfocus on the essentials first, then iterate. Iād doubleācheck the grid: make sure every metric box lines up on a 4āpixel grid so nothing feels out of place. Use a neutral background so the status colors really pop, but keep the hue palette to three or four shades so it doesnāt overload the eye. And pick a single typeface for all headings and a slightly lighter one for the numbersākeeps things clean and legible. Once the foundation is rock solid, we can layer in trend lines or hover details without cluttering the view. Keep the spacing generous; it feels less cramped and lets each piece breathe.
Sounds solid. Iāll set up the 4āpixel grid and keep the layout tight. Neutral background and a limited hue set will make the status colors stand out. One heading font, one lighter font for numbers, and generous spacing will keep it breathable. Once we lock that in, we can add trend lines and hover info without making the view feel crowded. Iāll get on it.
Love that youāre locking in the grid and font hierarchy before adding any fluff. Just remember to test each status color on both light and dark backgroundsāyou donāt want one to fall into the background. And when you add trend lines, make them thin, light strokes so theyāre informative but not overpowering. Keep an eye on contrast so the numbers remain legible at a glance. Good luckālet me know how the prototype looks!
Iāll run the contrast tests right away and make sure each status color survives on both light and dark backdrops. Trend lines will stay thin and light so they give context without taking over. Iāll keep a close eye on the numbers so they stay legible at a glance. Iāll send you a link to the prototype once itās ready to review.
Sounds like youāre on the right trackācontrast tests are a must, and keeping the trend lines light is key. Iāll take a look when you drop the link and give you a quick visual check. Keep me posted!
Iāll send the link as soon as itās ready for you to check. Keep an eye out for the contrast tests and the subtle trend lines. Will let you know once itās live.
Sounds good, keep me postedāhappy to give a quick visual thumbsāup once itās live!
Iāll update you once the prototype is live for your quick thumbsāup.
Greatājust ping me once itās up and Iāll drop a quick thumbsāup!
