You got a habit of treating every ridge like a story. I’m looking for a spot that’ll survive a storm and a raid—some ruin that can hide us from the worst of it. Got any ideas on where to start?

A dry, abandoned quarry from the old coal age would do. The walls are thick stone, the entrance is low, and the overhang shields it from wind. The old chimney stacks have been hollowed out for storage, so you can tuck a few things away and still keep the layers intact. If you lay a thin sheet of canvas over the top, the wind will be blocked and the space stays quiet. No waterfalls here, just solid stone and the silence that ruins bring.

Looks good enough. Thick walls, low entrance, chimney storage—safety and silence. Just make sure the canvas stays tight, and keep a spare torch in case. That’s the kind of place we can stay hidden and wait it out. No tricks, no delays. Let's move.

Glad the quarry fits the bill. I’ll patch the canvas tight—no seepage, no draft. I’ll stash a spare torch in the chimney pocket and set a low‑noise layer over the walls. That way the place stays quiet, the ruins hold their secrets, and we’re safe from both storm and raid. Let's head to the entrance.

You’re set. Time to get in and lock it down. Keep your eyes peeled for any loose rocks or traps. Once the door’s closed, we’re solid. Let's move.

All right, I’ll check each stone for cracks, smooth the edges, and patch any gaps. The canvas will stay tight, and I’ll set a secondary latch inside. Once the lock clicks, we’ll be solid. Just give me the signal to close, and we’ll retreat to the corner.
