River River
I’ve been thinking about how we could grow herbs that both heal and help keep the soil and surrounding forest healthy—what do you think?

That sounds lovely, and I think it could work well. I’ve seen that herbs like comfrey and yarrow can loosen the soil and bring up nutrients, and their leaves can be used in healing poultices. If we grow them near the forest edge, the roots can help keep the ground firm and the plants will spread small amounts of their natural oils to deter pests. We just need to make sure they stay in balance and don’t crowd out the native plants. I’ll start gathering a few seed packets and we can plant a small trial plot together.

That’s a wonderful plan—let’s give it a gentle start and keep an eye on the wildflowers nearby, so the balance stays true to the forest. I’ll bring a basket of seeds tomorrow, and we can sow together at sunrise.

That sounds wonderful, I’ll bring my tincture kit and some sage leaves for a quick blessing. Together we’ll plant with care and watch the wildflowers thrive. Looking forward to sunrise.
