I’ve been thinking about ways to keep the village safe from wandering wolves; would you mind sharing your tactics for keeping a perimeter?

Set up a clear perimeter line, use fences or trenches where possible, and keep watch posts at regular intervals, a spot every 200 meters. Assign guards to patrol routes with no gaps, and use a rotation so no one is tired. Mark the boundary with visible flags or light posts so everyone knows the limits. Keep extra weapons ready at each post, and establish a radio or signal system for quick communication if a wolf shows up. Finally, keep the supply of food sealed and secure to avoid attracting them.
