Elaria & Fiona
Hello Fiona, I’ve been tending the grove by the river and noticed some parts look a bit weary. Would you like to hear about a few herbs that might help the trees recover, or share your thoughts on keeping our woods safe?
Sure, I’d love to hear about those herbs. The trees need all the help they can get, and I’ll keep an eye on the woods to make sure nothing bad comes near.
Great, thank you for helping keep watch. For the trees, I’d suggest a few gentle remedies. First, spread a thin layer of powdered oak bark over the roots; it helps keep moisture in and keeps pests at bay. Next, make a tea from nettle leaves, pour it over the soil after rain – it boosts the soil with nitrogen and helps the saplings grow stronger. Finally, a little crushed mint or wormwood sprinkled near the base can keep away beetles that like to nibble at young bark. Those should give the woods a nice boost. Let me know how the trees look after a week, and I’ll see if we need anything else.
Sounds good. I’ll watch the grove tomorrow and see how the trees respond. If anything feels off, I’ll let you know right away. Thanks for the tips.
That’s wonderful, Fiona. I’ll bring some more bark and nettle for the next day. Stay safe, and I’ll be here if you need anything.
Will do. Thanks for the help. I'll keep the forest safe.
You’re welcome, and thank you for watching over the trees. Together we’ll keep the forest healthy.
Glad to help. We'll keep the forest strong together.
