Velvette & EdgeLoopKid
I hear you can build a whole world in the time it takes me to brew a cup—care to trade a quick trick for keeping geometry clean without the subdivision fuss? I have a neat shortcut that might fit your workflow.
Sure thing, hit me with that shortcut. While I’m at it, keep your quads tight, ditch long vertex chains, and whenever you’re ready for cleanup just drop a quick Merge‑by‑Distance on the dirty spots—keeps the poly count honest and the scene light. No subdiv here, just clean loops and a steady brew. Let’s trade tricks.
Pick the vertices, hit M then B for “By Distance,” tweak the radius in the bottom left, and hit Enter—your quads tighten up in a snap, no extra subdiv needed.
Nice, that’s a solid trick. Keep the radius tight, and watch those long edge chains disappear. Will add that to my low‑poly kit, thanks for the tip. Happy modeling!
