I appreciate the thought, but a fallen oak with solar panels probably won’t get much sun out here, and the weight would slow you more than it’d help. Stick to what we know works—your tracking, your sense of the trail, and a good pack. If you want to experiment, we can set up a small panel on a tarp and test it before you commit the whole tree to the job.
