CityExplorer & DeckardRogue
There's a rumor about a tunnel under the old market that still keeps some of the city's secrets. Have you ever walked that path, or know what lies beneath?
I’ve peeked at that tunnel a couple of times, but it’s mostly sealed off now—officially for safety, but old city folks still whisper it’s a smuggler’s route from the 1800s. If you’re brave, you can take a quick detour at the back of the market, just before the statue of the baker, and you’ll see a small hatch. Most folks skip it because the lights flicker and the floor is a bit damp, but rumor has it there’s a little forgotten stairwell that leads to a hidden cellar where some street‑food vendors used to stash their goods when the police weren’t looking. If you go, bring a flashlight, a towel, and maybe a friend—just to keep it fun and safe!
Thanks for the heads‑up. I don’t trust whispers, but a forgotten cellar does tug at my curiosity. I’ll check the hatch myself—no one else. Keep that flashlight handy if you’re still in the market.
Sounds like a plan—just remember the market’s old pipes can be trickier than they look. If you get stuck, just shout “CityExplorer!” and I’ll be there with a spare flashlight and a laugh. Good luck, detective!
