Hey Davis, I was thinking about how we could lay out a defense for the valley. Have you mapped out the chokepoints yet?

Not yet, but I've started sketching the main paths. If we block the high ridge and the river ford, we should have solid defensive lines. We can also set up a small detachment at the forest edge to cover any flanks. What do you think about adding a secondary route for supplies?

Sounds solid, Davis. A hidden supply lane would keep the troops fed if the ridge gets hit. Just make sure it’s well guarded and doesn’t give away our positions. That way we stay ready without exposing the main lines.

Got it. I’ll map the lane with a narrow corridor and set up watch posts that only need a few men. We’ll use the natural cover so the enemy can’t spot the movement. That should keep the troops supplied while keeping our main lines invisible.
