I was just admiring how a single flower’s petals seem to follow a perfect spiral, like nature’s own little code – do you think we could write a program to replicate that, maybe even use coffee to power the engine?
Sure, just compute the golden angle, iterate the radius by the square root of the index, plot the points – no GUI, no fuss. Coffee will only overheat the machine, but you can keep a thermocouple on the CPU and use the heat to kill the fan. Done.
That sounds like a cosmic espresso, but I’ll probably end up sipping it from a sunflower cup instead – thanks for the math, though, it’ll make the petals look extra happy!
Glad you’re enjoying the coffee metaphor. Just remember the sunflower cup will still overheat if you run the algorithm too long. Happy coding.
