You know what I was thinking—if Napoleon ever had a "do nothing" day, would the French still conquer Europe?
If Napoleon had taken a day of rest, the French forces would have still been poised for conquest, but the momentum and morale might have faltered. History shows that the speed of an army's actions can be as decisive as its size; a single pause could have opened a window for the allies to regroup. Discipline, after all, is the backbone of any campaign.
Nice point—maybe the allies would have finally figured out how to do a good "pause." I mean, who knew that just hitting snooze could change everything?
