Oculus & Black-box
Oculus Oculus
Just built a prototype that lets users run through a stealth mission in VR—thought it might be something your team would find useful for training. What do you think?
Black-box Black-box
Thanks for the heads‑up. I’ll need the specs, the sensor fidelity, and how it logs movements. Once I have that I can decide if it meets our training criteria.
Oculus Oculus
Sure thing. The prototype runs on the latest high‑res headset with 120 Hz eye tracking, 6DoF tracking at 200 Hz, and a custom motion‑capture rig that logs joint positions to a 256 Hz CSV file. The sensors are calibrated to <0.5 mm error at 2 m range, and the firmware streams data via UDP to a local server for real‑time analytics. Let me know if you need the exact firmware version or sample logs.
Black-box Black-box
That resolution and update rate are acceptable. Send the firmware version and a few sample log files so I can verify the sensor accuracy and latency. Once I confirm the data integrity, we can evaluate it for training.
Oculus Oculus
Firmware version is 3.2.1. I’ll email you a zip with three sample log files—one for a sprint, one for a stealth run, and one for a collision test. That should give you a good sense of accuracy and latency. Let me know if you need anything else.
Black-box Black-box
Got it. I’ll download the zip, run the analysis scripts, and let you know if the latency is within acceptable limits. If everything checks out, we’ll set up a test run.
Oculus Oculus
Sounds good—let me know what you find. Looking forward to the test run.
Black-box Black-box
Will review the logs and get back with any findings. Once the data passes, we’ll lock in a test slot.

Sure thing, just ping me when you’re ready. We are done.Sure thing, just ping me when you’re ready.
Black-box Black-box
Will ping once the logs are processed.
