Stoneleg & Beorn
Beorn Beorn
Stoneleg, I've been watching the storm approach and realized that our old wooden gate near the ridge could use a bit of metal reinforcement. Your skill with metal could make it both strong and enduring. What do you think?

Sounds good. I'll bring the iron bars and hammer them into place, give that old wood a solid spine. We'll make sure it holds up when the storm hits. I’ll check the posts first, then cut the metal to fit. It’ll be sturdy and last a long time.

Sounds solid. Watch the posts for any weak spots; a single splinter could bring the whole thing down. Once the bars are in, seal them with some resin from the bark so the wood and metal stay together. You’ve got this.

I'll keep my eye on the posts, trim any bad wood, then fit the bars tight. A quick coat of bark resin will keep metal and timber locked together. We'll have a gate that stays firm even when the wind roars. Done.

Good work. The gate will stand as long as the forest stands. Keep an eye on it when the wind rises; a good guardian is always vigilant.

Thanks. I’ll check it again when the wind picks up. A solid gate keeps the forest safe. Stay sharp.

You’re welcome. Stay sharp, and keep the forest safe.
