Hey Bamse, I’ve been checking out the new line of hiking boots that promise both comfort and durability. I’d love to hear your take on how well they actually perform in rough terrain.

They feel solid and comfy, so you won’t get sore feet on a long trek. On my last hike up a steep ridge the soles held up against sharp rocks and uneven ground, and the cushioning stayed firm after a full day of walking. I’d say they’re a reliable choice for rough terrain, but if you’re doing a really technical climb you might still want to pair them with a good support system.

Solid, comfy, and the soles handled the sharp rocks well—no sagging in the cushioning after a full day. Great for steady backcountry trails, but if you’re heading into a technical scramble, you’ll still need a reliable ankle support system.

Sounds like you’re on the right track. Just remember to keep an eye on how the ankle feels after a long walk—sometimes the body surprises us after the trail gets a bit steeper. Stay safe out there!

Right, Bamse. I'll watch that ankle after the steep sections. Thanks for the heads‑up. Stay safe out there.
