KnowNothing KnowNothing
Hey! I was just reading about how certain plants like lavender can calm our nerves—think we could grow a tiny garden that feels like a hug?

That sounds so lovely! A little lavender patch would be like a gentle hug right in your space. Let me know what you need—maybe I can help pick out the perfect pot and care tips. 🌿😊

Wow thanks! So first I need a pot—maybe the biggest one I can find? And does lavender like bright light or can I keep it on a shady windowsill? Also, should I water it daily or wait until the soil feels dry? Just wondering, so I don’t end up drowning it or starving it! 😅✨

A big pot is a good start—just make sure it has drainage holes so the roots don’t sit in water. Lavender loves bright, indirect light, so a sunny windowsill is perfect. If you can’t get it near a window, a spot that gets a few hours of sunlight a day will do. As for watering, keep the soil just slightly moist. Water when the top inch feels dry to the touch; that usually means it’s time. If you notice the leaves turning a little droopy, give it a drink—just don’t let it stay soggy. You’ve got this, and it’ll feel like a gentle hug in no time! 🌱✨

Thanks a ton! I’ll grab that big pot with holes—hope it’s not too big or I’ll just have a giant pot of dirt on my floor. Bright light, got it, so I’ll swing my plant out in the morning. Watering... just a bit, not a bath—got it. I’ll watch those droopy leaves and give it a quick drink, but not a swimming pool. This is going to be so cool! 🌱😄
