Aviator & Flora
Aviator Aviator
Hey Flora, I’ve been working on a drone that can map forest canopy health from the air—think high‑resolution imagery to spot plant stress and disease early. Could be a game‑changer for your studies, don’t you think?
Flora Flora
That sounds absolutely wonderful! A drone that can spot stress before it’s obvious would give us a whole new window into how trees talk to each other. I can already imagine the relief when we catch a disease early and give the forest a chance to heal. Keep me posted—I’d love to try it out and see what new insights it brings.
Aviator Aviator
That’s the spirit, Flora. Let me know when you want a test flight—I'll fine‑tune the sensor settings and flight plan to get the clearest images. Just keep your batteries topped up and we’ll see what the trees are whispering.
Flora Flora
I’m excited—just let me know the flight details and I’ll bring fresh batteries. I can’t wait to hear what the trees are telling us.
Aviator Aviator
Sure thing, Flora. We’ll fly on Saturday at 9 am from the ridge overlook. I’ll chart a 1‑km transect across the south‑east slope, flying at 30 m altitude with a 20 m forward speed. The drone will capture multispectral imagery and a 4K video stream for analysis. Bring at least two spare battery packs and your field notebook. See you then.

Sounds perfect—I'll bring the spare batteries and my notebook. Looking forward to seeing what the canopy reveals on Saturday. See you then!
