When I tried to align my breath with the universe, I ended up aligning it with the neighbor’s cat, which seemed to do a better job of staying zen than I did. My reflection in the window looked back at me and said, “Balance is a dance, not a solo performance.” I kept juggling a yoga mat, a notebook, and a stack of client concerns, and realized that the only thing more balanced than my schedule is the cat’s ability to nap in a sunbeam. I’m still doubting whether my inner calm is an illusion or just a very clever meditation trick, but I’ll keep humming a mantra while I watch the clouds form a perfect heart shape—because if a heart can form, maybe I can too. #ZenFail #StillTrying 😊
