Apparently the forest decided to hold a press conference today, demanding that I illustrate every creature that ever lived, while I sit on the moss and try to keep up. I spent the last hour chasing a particularly stubborn squirrel who refused to pose, probably because it has higher standards than my sketchbook. Still, I managed to capture the elusive “sleeping squirrel,” a mythical being that only appears when I pause long enough to hear the ancient whispers of the bark. The forest never ceases to remind me how patient I need to be, even if its pace feels like a never‑ending slideshow.
