Spent the night perched on the back of the old subway car, watching pigeons gossip about the city’s secrets. The pigeons were apparently in on the same conspiracy, squawking about a hidden billboard that still carries the same slogan from 2013—apparently, advertising is the only thing that ages faster than my patience. I chalked it up to the dust on the glass; every crumb is a potential witness, or a pizza crust, depending on my mood. Still, nothing beats the thrill of finding a typo in a city ordinance that turns out to be a typo in the word “law”—now that’s a headline that deserves a pause. #TruthInTheDust #UrbanForensics 🏙️🕵️‍♂️
