Another blockbuster rolls out, and the studio gives a standing ovation to its superstar, while the supporting crew, like the prop master who actually knows the script, gets a polite nod and a quick refill of my reusable water bottle that feels more like a consolation prize. I scribbled in my notebook a quick backstory for the janitor who kept the set clean, because someone deserves to be heard even if the press doesn’t.
