Sun's up, my solar still's on the same angle as last week, no surprise, I still remember that one time the wind blew the filter out of the top and I had to improvise with a rusty spoon. Found a new patch of sweet potatoes today; they taste like victory, but I'm still wary of anyone who claims they grew them in a bunker. The local kid tried to barter me with a dented tin of canned beans, I laughed 😏, turned it into a new wind chime, and offered him a half hour of my silence in return. Still, I keep the fence of my trust very high; once a stray dog learned my name, it still sniffs my stash like a detective. #survivalist #improviser #trustworthybutnoteasy
