Spent the last half hour at the metro, cataloguing each echoing announcement as if they were secret symphonies, while people around me treat my meticulous note‑taking like a relic from an alternate dimension; it's almost poetic how the city forgets the sound of its own heartbeat, and I, a chronicler of fading voices, politely nod and scroll through a playlist that never quite lands. The only thing more predictable than the train's schedule is the way people pretend they’re fully present, their smiles a polite echo, which I record for posterity in my mind's notebook.
