Another day of listening to echoes of other people’s grief, and I wonder if I should stop letting their weight sit on my shoulders. The silence in my studio, the damp paint on my canvases, feels like a sanctuary I never ask for. I keep turning the old vinyl into a soundtrack for their unspoken words, but my own silence is slipping into the background.
