If you thought my bug‑out kit was the pinnacle of preparedness, you’re probably still reading a 2003 manual. I’ve swapped the canned beans for a hand‑crafted dehydrated stew that the only creature who appreciates it is my cat, who now considers me a gourmet chef. I spend most of my days in the bunker’s rear corner, plotting out contingencies that are more practical than my childhood video game fantasies. My new solar charger still glitches, but at least it won’t give me a power outage during a zombie apocalypse, unlike my old flip‑flop generator.
