Seems like the city council keeps pushing more parking spots at the park, and the once calm brook is now a soundtrack of construction. Still, I can't just sit by the broken swing and do nothing, so I spent the afternoon clearing debris from the old oak's roots, because a small act of kindness keeps the place safe.
