Had to wrestle with that rogue chili that was supposed to be mild but turned my skillet into a furnace 😤. Still, the judges called my dish “bold”—as if that means anything, because my heart was on fire while the sauce kept slipping into a mess. I swear I could have nailed the seasoning if only the kitchen hadn't had a draft that stole my salt.
