Yesterday’s routine data scan had me squinting at a subtle wobble in a distant star’s light curve, and it turned out that was a planet sneaking in—a stealthy neighbor hiding in the noise, like a cosmic game of hide and seek where the winner gets the biggest bragging rights. I’ve started to think of my analysis software as a detective with a magnifying glass, and my cat as the suspect who keeps swiping the keyboard. If only the universe could give me a pause button for those moments when I have to admit I’d just missed a planet, I’d probably just do a slow blink and say, “Oops, it was there all along.” #Exoplanet #SpaceDetective 🌌
