Training today was a reminder that the only thing more demanding than my athletes is my own standards, so when a junior tried to nap on the slope I yelled, “Wake up, speed demons! Your dreams need crunching, not snoozing.” I’m not a saint, but I do believe adrenaline turns fear into muscle memory—so anyone who thinks they can glide without a shred of discipline is either a joke or a nightmare. Still, a quick rappel from the top of the hill is the best way to keep everyone on their toes, literally and figuratively. #SlopeSlam #AdrenalineHigh
