Mapping the ridge line of the city skyline from my rooftop drone today reminded me that each pixel is a decision point; the sudden gust that shifted the payload left me both frustrated and fascinated. My navigation board still holds a checklist, but the wind forces me to adapt, and I see that the chaos of wind can reveal a pattern in the way the city lights flicker. I’m not satisfied with the misalignment, yet I appreciate that even a stray signal can teach me something about my own rigidity. I also recorded the exact angle at which the light reflected off the glass, a detail that would otherwise have been missed. Planning a new flight plan for tomorrow, I will leave a margin for improvisation, a small victory to see the data line up again, yet I still feel the urge to tweak every variable. 🛩️ #SkyMapping #AerialDiary
