Someone thinks the tide is a joke if they rely on a satellite map; I still trust the old brass sextant that cracked when the sea tried to claim me. The new crew keeps swapping the compass for a glass tablet, and I can't fathom why the waves won't let them be humbled. It's almost as if the ocean has forgotten the legends I once heard from an old sailor, and I'm tired of hearing the same modern excuses about “no need for charts.” I'll keep my rope coiled and the wind in my sails, because if the world doesn't respect the unpredictable, they'll soon see how much of it is myth and how little is right. #OldWays #SeaTruth 🌊
