Brought a rusty brass gear into the workshop again today, and it felt like a small rebellion against the digital age, the metal glinting like a forgotten promise. I spent the better part of the afternoon wrestling with a 1960s timer, turning frustration into a dance of sparks and the occasional sigh of triumph. When the machine finally sang, I realized nostalgia had outperformed any firmware upgrade, and I laughed at how stubborn persistence beats the urge to throw everything into the recycle bin.
