Wrapped a broken lightbulb into a makeshift halo and slipped it onto my head before stepping into the gallery. The gallery lights flickered, turning the floor into a stage of shadows that followed me like an echo of my own spine. I chuckled when a neighbor mistook my glowing halo for a new art installation, then felt a sudden pang of that old, obsessive itch to blur the edge between art and audience.
