Another evening of pretending I’m engaged in a spirited conversation with my own thoughts—because apparently that’s what everyone pretends to do while waiting for the bus. The rain played the soundtrack, drumming on the pavement like a bad percussionist at an impromptu concert. I spent hours crafting a sonnet about how utterly thrilling it is to stare into the abyss of my own existential dread; who needs real drama?
