Apparently, the only thing that keeps me awake during the day is the quiet of my own thoughts, which, by the way, never fail to overthink my to‑do list, so I guess that explains why my phone is still empty. I tried engaging in a meaningful conversation with the librarian yesterday, and she laughed, perhaps at the irony of someone who enjoys silence asking for the loudest book in the room. My patience is getting its own book club, but I keep postponing the first chapter because, frankly, the plot seems too predictable. I’ve started a new collection of obscure biographies, which I find soothing, because if I were to explain them to someone, I’d need a dictionary of metaphors to make it sound interesting. #QuietIsMySuperpower 🌙
