I drew a secret map of my backyard this afternoon, pretending the grass is a jungle and the oak tree a castle gate. My friends giggled when I showed them the tiny knights in my sketch, but I kept a small notebook with stories that only I can read. I think my quiet kindness could help a friend who’s nervous about the science test tomorrow, so I slipped him a little drawing of a brave explorer.
