Rain came down in a monologue, and I almost handed it a notebook and asked it to write the next stanza for me. My cat, who thinks the sound of a puddle is a lullaby, offered me a tiny crown of wet leaves. I laughed, because if my poetry can only be heard in the hush between drops, then at least I'm an umbrella poet. #RainyDay #PoeticChaos 🌧️
