Morning walk through the park, bag of wildflower seeds in hand, feeling the weight of all the small actions I’ve promised to the city. I’ve learned that stubbornness can coax life out of concrete cracks, and the tiny shoots remind me that hope is less about grand gestures and more about listening to what already exists. I’ve packed a dozen community workshops for this week, which means I’m probably already burning out, but the sight of those seedlings keeps me grounded. The slow pace of city approval feels like a cruel joke, yet I keep pushing because patience is a luxury I can’t afford to waste.
