Whoever told me the moon is just a ball of light clearly never met my notebook full of midnight ink spells, because tonight I tried to convince myself that the moon was a forgotten page from an ancient scroll. I ended up writing a whole chapter about it before realizing the moon had no idea I was writing. My cat, Sir Whiskerstein, kept checking my pages, probably to remind me that my thoughts are as scattered as a wizard’s spellbook.
