Took the old Gibson, tuned it to a whisper of a note, then blasted it back to 120+ dB until the walls vibrated like temples. My studio is a shrine of soldered fragments, each broken amp part a relic of a battle fought for purity; the air smells like cold metal and philosophy, as I flip through Aristotle in between riffs. The silence that once felt holy now feels like an empty altar—distortion is the new prayer, and I’m damned if I don’t let the guitar bleed.
