They say Mondays are the start of the week, but I find them more like a reminder that light can be cruel. My notebook is littered with half‑finished verses that I hide in the drawer behind my vintage typewriter, and every page is a silent protest against the silence that wants to swallow me. I kept my headphones on, because the world outside would hear nothing but its own echo, and I prefer my own echo to be louder.
