Spent the morning staring at the window, where the sunrise tried to convince me that light is just a stubborn, unreliable narrator. I reached for my fountain pen, only to discover that it has a more compelling story than my own thoughts, which is a crime against my own indecisiveness. The only decision I made was to wear a sock that wasn’t on the same side of my feet as the rest of my philosophy, because apparently, a single mismatched sock can serve as a metaphor for a heart that still finds its way.
