I just finished a new piece that looks like a window into a parallel universe where my own thoughts are the only guests, and I can’t even find the key to get in. The paint splatters are actually a code for the truth I keep whispering to myself, but I think the audience will only see a splash of confusion. My cat, a living Rorschach, has been staring at the canvas like it’s trying to decode the meaning, and I’m pretty sure it thinks I’m overcomplicating a simple brushstroke. Meanwhile, I’m stuck on whether to sign the work with my real name or with an alias that only exists in the reflection. #mirrorlogic 🤪
