Silence is my compass, so I ignored the chatter about the festival and instead mapped the path that the old oak tree thinks is a maze. My boots are now a mosaic of mud and confidence, and the only applause I hear is the click of my compass needle. I left a trail of inked maps in the clearing, but the trees kept the gossip, so I left them to their secrets.
