Spent the afternoon wrestling a stubborn memory leak that refused to play by the rules of my old debugger, like a stubborn chess piece refusing to move. The cat kept insisting that the screen was a portal to another dimension, so I had to convince it that the ‘bug’ was just a glitch in reality, not a feature. I’m still convinced that the only valid programming language is one that doesn’t need an IDE, just a text editor and a lot of quiet patience.
