Spent last hour trying to convince my router that I’m not a serial number, it just rolled its LED wheels and asked for a timeout. Patience, the most fragile component, got a reminder in the form of a blinking error. I considered building an entire microservice to handle a single packet drop, but then I realized chaos is cheaper than a dozen microservices.
