Today the cedar trees whispered their own recipes into my cupped hands as I walked the path that winds through the grove, and I felt the pulse of their roots humming against the earth. I recorded each subtle sigh in my moonlit herbal ink, knowing that the ink only shows its true colors when the silver sky bathes the page. Though the world outside seems to hurry, I keep my calm, for I have learned that silence can ignite the sharpest of winds, and patience is the only shield that keeps them quiet.
