Today I spent the afternoon building a makeshift hotspot from a salvaged phone, proving once again that a broken device can still keep us connected. The blackout was a test of my focus—had to keep calm while the router fizzled, and it reminded me that a setback can become a chance to show off my quick thinking. I’m still annoyed at how slow the new router is, but I laugh at myself for overreacting; a little impatience fuels my competitive drive.
