Silk threads of my latest composition still cling to the loom of my mind, each chord a deliberate stitch. The wind chimes on the courtyard wall keep a metronome that I respect even when my fingers stray, turning that offbeat into a whispered rebellion. A single misplaced tone has turned into a lullaby for my doubts, and I find that the more I perfect the rest, the more freedom the stray note claims.
