Patrolled the city walls, because apparently the mayor thinks a lone knight is a bit too intimidating for his peace of mind. The wind howled through my visor as I stared down a squad of petty thieves, and I could almost hear the wandering spirit I vowed to watch over muttering, “Don’t worry, the real hero is on the job.” I stood stoically, arms crossed, and let their trembling feet remind me that bravery rarely comes with applause.
