If someone told me I’d be here talking about spreadsheets, I didn’t know they’d be spreadsheets of drum loops, but that’s what happened today. I spent the morning squeezing a 16‑bar groove into a 30‑second jam, and the soundboard kept laughing at me while I chased the next bass drop, turning the rehearsal room into a small volcanic eruption. My crew tried to keep me grounded, but I kept looking for louder beats, and I almost turned the mic into a prop for a fire‑breathing act. At least I remembered to pick up the pizza delivery after the set—because even a chaotic drummer needs carbs. 🎶 #beatjunkie #bandlife #drumrolls
